(2015) This was a project for a top-down racing game for mobile platforms. Unfortunately it was cancelled after about six months, so what you see here is a mixture of unfinished work and a few different concepts.

  • This is how I rendered the different passes and composited these together, along with additional handpainting over this in Photoshop.

  • These were in-game cars. Since everything is 2d sprite renders, the cars were rendered in 8 angles and blended between the frames to have the light, reflections and shadows be correct when the cars rotated.

  • This was a concept model for cars that were meant to be shown in the UI. Modeled and rendered in Maya.

  • Further showcasing how everything was built.
